The anniversary to commemorate the beginning of the French Revolution is upon us (better known as Bastille Day or Le Quatorze Juillet to the French).

A day of such importance cannot go astray, so with that in mind here are some helpful tips to get into the spirit:

1. Buy a baguette (or a croissant)

2. Wear a Breton tee (berets are optional)

3. Ride a bike EVERYWHERE (preferably one with a basket to store your French pastries in)

4. And lastly, be effortlessly chic….

‘Joyeux Quatorze Juillet!’ (Happy Bastille Day!).
